This commission comes from Alejandro Valencia and Universidad EAFIT (Medellín, Colombia). The new composition will be a multi-movement work for violin and guitar, written for Sfera Duo (Daniela Trujillo – violin, Alejandro Valencia – guitar).
The work will be inspired by brilliant and timeless Los Caprichos (The Caprices), a set of 80 prints created by Francisco Goya. This commission is also part of Mr. Valencia’s Doctorate in Arts and Humanities at Universidad EAFIT in Medellín.
