new version of my FINIS AUTEM PRINCIPIUM EST for two guitars, written using the 'palimpsest technique’.
For many years I had been considering creating a two-guitar version of this piece, which is very special and deeply emotional for me. The work was composed in memory of John Tavener, who passed away in 2013.
The recording will take place at the end of the month in England, and I will be joined by the outstanding Serbian musician and guitarist, currently based in Zurih, Vojin Kocic.
